The Explore the Core campaign supports main street corridor recovery in core areas of London, Ontario including Downtown and Old East Village, by recruiting new businesses, and home-based and expanding entrepreneurs to reduce main street vacancies and further develop small business jobs and investment.
Through community consultations, the themes of campaign messaging were determined to be “1. The Neighbourhood, 2. Youth-led Cool, and 3. Easy to Succeed”. I worked with the team to create the campaign messaging and direction. It was decided to create a flexible poster campaign targeting walking traffic in the neighbourhood.
I designed the campaign creative, including digital advertisements, social media graphics, and print advertisements. The print advertisements were created to be easily translated into magazine advertisements, window posters, social media posts, and more.
I also worked with the team to design two core business attraction landing pages with links to resources and intake. I designed the UX mockups for partner websites using supplied content and the campaign creative.
