“This book is a visual narrative of the nation, as much as it is a record of Canadian municipal innovation.”
In collaboration with Build Strong Cities, I created a print publication that organized the content from a multimedia project into a beautifully bound, hardcover book that clearly illustrates the importance of infrastructure investment and connectivity.
The Ride to Connect Canada is a campaign that took the VIA Rail train across 10 cities, documenting stories from municipalities, articles on physical and digital infrastructure, and photographs of the journey across Canada. This book is an advocacy tool for the investment in the vintage physical infrastructure that connects Canadians to the new digital economy.

“A written and photo journal of Build Strong Cities’ trans-Canada ride sharing 25 stories from inspiring communities.
This book is a visual narrative of the nation, as much as it is a record of Canadian municipal innovation.”
Build Strong Cities needed a website for the campaign, 15 Principles. The site includes a video featuring interviews from youth sharing their principles for a better society and a call to action for others to contribute their perspective.
I created a simple and clean Wordpress website featuring the campaign video and image stills with captions from the youth interviews, of which the project is centered around.
