BFL Canada hosts a charity event each September for the First Nations' Emergency Services Society of British Columbia by working with industry partners to raise funds and compete in the BFL Grouse Grind Challenge. Each year, the team creates a new image to support the initiative.
Through research into the history of the Grouse Mountain In B.C. and related initiatives by BFL Canada with First Nation communities, concepts were developed featuring the Grouse bird and land imagery.
The t-shirts were a huge success; everyone wanted extras to bring home to their family. They were even able to use the design for some medals.
Together with a number of industry partners, BFL Canada was able to raise $30,000 for FNESS, which will go towards their youth training bootcamps and 72-hour emergency kits.
