About the Project
Mainstreet London piloted a business accelerator called UpStart Accelerator at 189 Dundas Street in the Autumn of 2022. The Pop-Up shop opened on Saturday, September 17. The event featured a tour of the indoor spaces and local vendors.
About Pop-Up Shops in Downtown London
These temporary spaces can be occupied for a day, a week, a month, or sometimes longer depending on the business needs and space availability. Pop-Up Shops activate empty spaces by bringing people into a building for an event or sale. These spaces are perfect for art shows, craft sales, small businesses launching their products or established businesses testing a new product. Independent artists use Pop-Ups for film, music, performance, and other activations.
