About the Project

Beerlab! is a small-batch craft brewery offering intriguingly experimental brews that are both modern and meticulous.

The owners at Beerlab! approached me to help them with their digital marketing campaigns on social media in October 2019. After some success, the rapid closure of businesses during covid-19 in March 2020 brought an urgency to bring new methods of service delivery, including a new e-commerce website.

In October 2020, I assisted Beerlab! in achieving another business milestone - exporting their products regionally.

About the Process

The global Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020 brought an urgency to bring new methods of service delivery, including a new e-commerce website. I was able to create an e-commerce platform with several SKUs in a matter of days by pulling together readily available assets.

I configured the e-commerce website and added products for shipping in targeted regions. I updated website content for SEO and executed a digital marketing campaign across all channels to promote the launch. I tested the e-commerce process from the customer standpoint, and adjusted copy and forms for the simplest and most enjoyable checkout process.

The website launch campaign included custom screen mockup images and highly targeted ad copy used on social media posts.

Solution and Results

We launched quickly and continued to refine content based on sales analytics data for outstanding SEO results.

We saw excellent results with the improved messaging on social channels. While many businesses were closing during the global pandemic, Beerlab! experienced business growth through their e-commerce website.

I took care of the marketing details, so the owners at Beerlab! can continue to concentrate on what they do best, brewing and serving top-quality small-batch craft beer.
