About the Antler River Poetry Logo
Antler River Poetry strives to host a dynamic mix of voices, from established Canadian poets to new and local writers.
The logo is an abstract depiction of the forks of Deshkan Ziibi, or Antler River, the location of the organization.
The typography is reminiscent of a classic typewriter mark, an homage to inspirational writing from the past.
Combining the river and typewritten text creates a logo design that illustrates the organization’s function and values.
The colours are inspired by the water, land, and sky.
